Dr. Jason Sanders is an experienced, board certified Retina Surgeon. He has been in private practice performing specialized retinal care in North Carolina since 2005. He holds degrees from Clemson University, The Medical University of South Carolina, The University of Tennessee and the University of Iowa. To date, Dr. Sanders has participated in over 19 clinical trials studying the latest advances in the care of retinal disease. His clinical interests include Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Edema, Macular Holes, Macular Puckers, Retinal Detachments, Retinal Tears, and Intraocular Tumors.
When not at work, Dr. Sanders enjoys spending time with his family including his wife of 11 years and their two sons. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast, athlete and devoted Christian.
